#2 does it for me Peter.
#1, the water is too rough.
#3 is a bit too symetrical.

Minor critique on #2. Maybe crop a tad off the top so the horizon is 2/3 way up the image with that beautiful diagonal line pointing at the sunset. This is the shot of the series IMHO. Even better than the one you posted earlier today.

Print it big, frame it, stick it on your wall.

Cheers
John

Outstanding images Peter. The composition, colours, sharpness all make fantastic images. I can see them framed in a sequence next to each other.

Well done!! Pic of the week candidates all of them!

I like the interface / matching of the waves and pylons in the first one. Pity the water further out is windswept.

All very nice Peter.

Peter, number 3 is the one for me. Do you realise that you have captured mercury and jupiter in that shot?

Peter,

all great and my fav in order would be 2-3-1. They look very peaceful. The odd time I was there for a sunset, there were always fisherfolks on the pier and that wasn't really the look I was after.

Cheers,

André

Thank you all for your comments

Big V - thanks for the planet info. I thought they were pretty bright for stars.

André - waiting for no people on the jetty was a challenge. Two young girls kept wandering out there then back again.

That's where a 2nd camera body and a long telephoto lens comes in handy. Walk a bit closer to the jetty and pretend to be taking their photo and see how fast they run....
