I have had this camera now for almost two weeks, so its about time I got posting. I have been spending all my spare time learning how these dSLR thingys work.

The first one I tried to get the panning right, and unfortunately I lost her right foot, but somehow managed to get her face almost right - I will keep trying with this one.

The second shot is probably just a snapshot, but cos I am her daddy, I just loved it - sometimes sharp focus isn't everything!

I agree that you don't always need focus in an image, and the first image shows this. I wouldn't even be worried about the cut off foot. The images is colourful and artsy. I like them both very much. You should be happy!
