I did miss the focus slightly ( was not looking through the viewfinder)

1/90s f/1.8 at 50.0mm iso100

A bit soft for my liking as I like the eye's to be sharp to pull my attention.

In my oppinion, softness of the face is very good in this image.
I think that is working great.

Justin - would have been a great capture if both eyes were in focus - looks like the focal point was on the fingers. Cheers, Mick

He was sitting on my lap at the time and I was holding the camera out and pointing back in - it was a MF lens so I just set it to closest focus and took series of shots as I moved in.
