B&W portraits

I was browsing through my raw collection when I thought I would try to have a go at converting some into b&w.

the second pic has more character to it. If I was to be really nitpicky, which I am :), I'd probably try a few more shots with the cigarette being lit while he's inhaling, one with the ash trail being a bit longer, etc.

First one appears a little soft but the second is on the money Abel. Maybe a tad more contrast. Well done. Cheers, Mick :) :) :)

Added the version of #2 with more contrast, I think I might have overdone it abit though. Tell me what you think. :wink:

Thanks for the suggestion. Played with it some more and tried going for the dark noisy look. Not sure which one I Like more between the 2.

Last one with the noise and increased contrast gives more of a character feel, and more closer look to B&W film :)
