Excellent shots!
#1 subject & composition great and I like the spotlight feel to the lighting/flash.
#2 Great colours and scene. I could even get a dunk in that one (well maybe a few years ago).
#3 I've never seen a reefer that big before!! Interesting subject.
#4 Well executed. The background is just a tad too busy for my liking in this one though. Still a top capture.
#5 Well executed. I'd clone out the ad if possible.
Great work!! Cheers, Mick :) :) :)

Enjoyed this series. Thanks for posting. Here is my two cents.

#1 nice focus on subject. Did you use photoshop or real flash?
#2 not really my cup of tea. can't figure out subject easily
#3 Great Great mood!
#4 Again off camera flash would have kicked ass. Still a great photo.
#5 Great Shot. Off camera flash would have been better. consider taking out the Ad (as per Oscar) and changing yellow to less intrusive colour

cheers for the comments i see what you mean about the add but i'd prefer not to PS them any more than colours etc. do more and you will get crusified by editors.

all the lighting effects are either natural or flash i've got a few of the first ones with a flatter even light but the vignetting makes it pop i think

Thanks guys :)

#1 is great!! i love the lighting and angel and the subject. //Edit: i would of liked to see the whole 'foot' in frame, and a some more light at the top of their heads. but i still love it

#4 looks like the bike is part of the wall (ie painted on)

nice photos and location.

#4 is tops but the light position could have been placed a bit differently to seperate the rider from the wall :)

tru that he really could pop more i'm trying to get more set shots but i end up running around with a flash on a sync cord most of the time because it's hard to get riders to actually perform. (i know i hate doing it lol)

thanks for the comments everyone really gives me something to go back and think about for next weekend :)
