I'd like some comments on this PPed/modified photo.

I was PPing away like a madman and ended up with something I liked.

What do you think?

I wonder what sort of enviro friendly fuel the one on the left is using - that one on the right must be sponsored by the Amazonian woodchipping industry...

EDIT: Speeling

I think it is more aobut the right one is setting a richer mixture in the fuel than the one on the left (back) to get a few extra power on the engines...

Thanks for the comments. :)

I thought someone would have asked what PP was done. :o

Well here it is anyway.

- Adjusted curves + shadow/highlight tool to bring out detal in exhaust smoke

- Added a bit more space on the left side of the frame

- Added slight sepia tone using photo filters

- Tried various ways to get a bit of vignetting happening. I ended up using photoshop's lighting tool to add a light in the centre of the frame. Yes, thats a fake sun in the photo.

Sorry to be a nerd, but running an engine rich actually produces less power.

Nice photo. I don't think the PP takes anything away from the image

true with regular fuel, but if its avgas or a similar aviation fuel with high nitromethane content then richer mixtures can produce more power.
you also get more power with nitromethane if you put more load on the motor.
of course they cant run rich all the time cause they would probably need twice the size of fuel tank or fall out of the sky before they reach the destination.
