Well, it's not really a streetscape, more like a promenade-scape

The original colour version was rather contrasty, so I converted it to B&W.
What do you think?

I think the b&w conversion is good but lacks contrast. Maybe try adjust the shadow/highlight levels a bit to give the image a bit more depth.
