And defished to the extreme

Thanks Poon for the great service and prices

And thanks Stubbsy (I think) for convincing me I needed one! (And talking my lovely wife into letting me have it)

Congrats Sheepie, I'm prepared for the onslaught of FE photos, I expect it will take a few weeks of constant posting before you get it out of your system, so bring it on

Congrats Leon!! A very nice way of introducing your new lens to us and a clever representation of the way you can 'de-fish'...I look forward to seeing some beautiful imagery from you with your new toy!

Aha!!!
I reckon your style will really suit such a wide angle lens Leon. But please promise us that you will use the extra distortion for good, and not evil. (IE no duck images, if you can get close enough) Actually, if you can get that close to a duck, i would love to see the image. I stalked a pelican with my 12-24 on the weekend and he had a go at me as i got too close ![]() I reckon the first fishy image is much better. I feel it gives a more 'looking up' kind of, erm, feeling. Steve.

For a crap lens I guess this pic is OK. Why not get a real wide angle though?

Sheepie
After a few weeks you'll get sick and tired of looking at warped pictures with tiny subjects in the middle and then you'll realise what a gimmicky piece of crap that lens really is. You will be only too glad to give it away. Keep me in mind. ![]() Regards
Matt. K
