These are great! Fantastic observational skills on your behalf - but I would expect that considering your previous macro work. These would have been a great idea for the Fred Hollows exhibition. There is so much beauty in so many things that we generally take for granted.

The near symmetry of #1 makes it a winner. Normally I'm a bit iffy on some macro stuff, but this is truly a stand out image. It'd look great one one of those big canvas prints. You've probably mentioned this a dozen times before, but which lens?
