Hi all. Sorry I haven't been around much at all... lots going on keeping me extra busy at the moment.

Apologies for the quality of the photos from this incident. Metering, exposure, and composition are fairly poor. Can't win them all I guess.

At approximately 0145hrs, crews were turned out to the report of a structure fire at Alvisio Crt, Narangba. Upon arrival crews reported two
6x6m sheds containing truck tyres, compressors, and acetylene bottles well involved, and a further 2 pumps and an ET were responded.
Appliances on scene were 525a (Petrie pump), 528a (Cabooture pump), 528b (Caboolture Auxilliary pump), 528k (Caboolture ET), and 528y (Caboolture 4x4 Light Attack).

Again, nice coverage work Mark.

Looking at the time you said this all took place I couldn't help but imagine the thought of getting a call in the early AM, bouncing out of bed eyes half open, grabing the keys and the camera and off to the shoot. Those conditions would definitely impact my ability to nail the shot.

While not your best work I think you have done very well.

Cheers,

I agree with Craig about the time and the pics. One question: a 4x4 attack vehicle - is this used to blow the structure off the face of the earth if the water has no effect :?:
