Had a quick trip to Brisbane a week or so ago, and took some photos, whilst I was there.

After looking around on this forum, I have started capturing my photos in RAW. These photos are my first attempts at using RAW, playing with curves and levels. Unlike my previous shots displayed, I have not used any auto settings in PP (ie auto contrast, colour etc).

I would love feedback on the images - am I on the right track etc. All C + C welcome.

Thanks

Russell

Hi Russell,
I find myself squinting to try to see what is in the bottom of the second picture. I would like to see it lighter (or a longer exposure). It's great to play around with RAW and amazing what sort of things you can pull from your exposures.
Cheers,
Lee

Thanks Marvin.

I can't get a longer exposure (flew back to Melbourne  ) but I have played with the raw and curves a bit more. I am amazed how much you can alter a photo taken in raw.

Anyways ... Here is my second attempt at the bottom one.

I think the bigger image (click to see) looks better

Is this better, or too far done?
