One of Brisbane's local rail lines is undergoing an upgrade, which means an extra train line, but the demolishing of some lovely old railway stations

This is a shot of Banoon Station - deserted at 11.30pm, except for workmen getting ready to get rid of some history

but i dont see any lovely old station in this picture... it looks like any other old boring drab underlit open air train stop...

Vikin - that's what these old stations are

The new ones are fang dangled steel concrete monoliths

I've always felt these old stations have character ....
maybe that's just me?
