A couple of Sigma macros

Had to use the built in flash due to dead batteries on the SB800
Your thoughts are appreciated.

i like the first one a lot more than the second, it is easier to tell what the focus is. colours are great and they are nice and sharp!
cant wait till i can afford a dedicated macro lens.

i like both of these phillip,beatiful colours in both and so much detail in the first flower.by the way witch lens was used,thanks.

I agree with Nathan that the first is better. As you know I'm dealing with macro lust at the moment so this is not a lot of help with my problem

Phillip,
the first one is the best here, simple and elegant. The second one just looks a bit too "untidy". Both have very nice colours.

As a fellow Sigma user and living in a wind tunnel I appreciate others showing their excellent results - I like both simply for the water drops. Colour too
