This is an old photo taken in August looking towards Brisbane from Red Hill I found. Canon 30D, Canon lens 55-200mm, tripod, ISO 100, 1/25 sec, F/5.6, Aperture priority, taken in RAW, sharpenss and white balance adjusted, no other image manipulation.

The powerlines are a bit distracting in my view. You should try the curves to improve contrast in the darker areas and perhaps darken the light areas.

my 2 cents

Thanks

Thanks, Surenj.

The picture is very much what you see at that time of the day from Enoggera Terrace. There is very little you could do with the lines. I guess I could use the clone tool to remove them, but I like it as it is because the powerlines are a fact of the Brisbane skyline and they add depth of field and perspective to the image.

The powerlines don;t bother me at all in this image. It's described as an urban sunset, and there is little that epitomises "urban" more than such things as powerlines and tile roofs ..... and a view to downtown!
