Nude model photography is very popular in China and I just joined them last Sunday and found it is interesting.

We have to go one hour by car to the mountain area for shooting nude girls.

Indeed I did.

And I've said on more than one occasion that we'll have some nice surprises from Poon at our Chrissie dinner. ;)

But no, there won't be nude models.

Poon, it certainly draws a crowd! I remember you telling me about this, didn't expect so many photographers.

Like the second and third photos best.

Number 3 is a cracker.

I reckon the composition is very interesting.

The 1st one is quite amusing, looks like a real paprazzi scrum.... :D

#1 is interesting in that there appears to be another group action in the background - I can imagine group clusters all over the countryside then a mad dash back to base to process

Simon,

Yes, you need at least a "camera" to join the group but you may be ashamed to do so as most of them are professionally equipped.

I saw few has both point and shot and DSLR body. I don't undertand this.

I reckon that could be if they have a few different cards and don't want to go home without filling up all available card media...... :D

Poon,

I suspect Pa was kidding. He's a bit like a dog chasing a car: wouldn't know what to do with it if he caught it. :)

Poon - these are all well done. Love the lighting, perspective and DOF.
Also very tasteful. Well done. Cheers, Mick :) :) :)

Shame you had to put the copyright on them though

Hmm...Models at the Christmas Dinner - I'd better book!!!
That's right, think I already have.

Maybe we'll need a few spare spots for all the camera gear when OUR media scrum gets wind of the models. I remember how congested things can get queueing up to take shots at the portrait workshop (wasn't bad at all really).

I shouldn't be too expensive to get a shoot like that set up here - life models only charge ~$40/hr or less last I looked so two models for two hours is $10/each for 16 of us. It's even possible that we might find group members willing to have a go in return for a discount :)

There's a model directory here and I recall there's a much better one but it seems to be paper only. I'll try to track it down.

Poon - I like your style of shooting. Please let me know when the next shoot is on

Thats great, I bet the cost is much lower than hiring a model here in AUS :)

Poon, are you coming over for the Christmas party by the way??

I guess we are very fortunate that women make such nice models, and are willing to stand around while we take photos of them too. :)

Yes, we are lucky.
It is just part-time job for the girls.
They are linked to some photo forums and
organizers there always change models and
you can see new face every month.
The girls are proud to show their body in public.

We also need a venue.

And 16 is too many for a shoot such as this, AFAIC. I like to keep the numbers to no more than 10 or so, so as to keep the group manageable.

I'd really love to come, but I have 2 social event booked in, a friend meetup in the morning and then a 21st in the avro, dunno how can I fit in another dinner in Neutral Bay...

What time start/end is the dinner? Not sure if I can fit anything in!! Btw, is there any more spaces left?? :P

Num 1 is a Zoo.
Num 2 is brilliant ! Especially when you convert it to B&W and drop the levels a bit.
Num 3 I don't mind.

Mic.
