Panographic NZ

One thing I have found lacking in Linux is a good pano tool... well I might have just found a tool that can finally do the job... Its a very complex bit of sortware and flexible to a fault (so many things you can change so many parameters that can be optimised which means stitching a pano can take forever)
Any way here is my first attempt... there are a few stitching faults I need to iron out but I am pretty happy with the initial result...

Guess where this is :D

Yeah, I've been using Hugin for a while, takes a little bit of learning but it's very useful. I find I'm now shooting to make stitching easier a bit more than I used to, which is probably a good thing.

Where abouts was this image made... I thought at first it might be the road to Arthurs Pass but I am rethinking that now!

Almost... it is actually off the road a little...

About 1km from the main road on the Christchurch side... AP is to your right, CC is to your left
