Formal Night

Hi all :)

Went along to my Gf's cousins formal last thursday night at the colby centre in doonside/blacktown.

Here's an image I took that I was fairly happy with.. feel free to c&c please

Hi Kyle,
Beautiful shot. If they are an item already and plan on being together for more than the formal then I imagine this will be a great keepsake for them. Nicely done and beautiful bokeh from the 28-70 :)

Did u take any more?

Is that a massive engagement ring on her finger in the linked 'looser frame' shot? Or something she borrowed to keep the guys at bay? :)

Dont know why she had that ring there, my gf was going to question her :P

They're not engaged. But have been together a while now..

I might go print this one off at the printers soon actually :D

quite sharp at 2.8! and nice bokeh too..
i had my formal last night at acer arena. pity i didnt arrive early enough to get pre-entry shots.
most of the shots inside werent that good either- for some reason the AF kept missing and hence caused OOF and overexposure :(

i shall resize and post in a few mins.

nice shot... could intensify the catchlights in the eyes for more effect...
