This one was a learning for me, to get the exposure right on the hair light. Set up was softbox left and right, and snoot on hairlight.

The effect of the hair light in this case seems to be relatively subtle? Do you have a photo without hair light for comparison?

I encouraged the guys to get the exposure for the hair light about one stop lower than the exposure for the main light (as measured using an incident meter). The reason for this is that any more and you just tend to get blown out highlights of a spectral highlight nature cuased by the light skimming off the surface of the hair. Less is more (less light, more detail)!
