Two LDS TemplesI've not been here in a while and so thought to re-introduce myself and post two images. The first shot was one I did on my first outing(about 14 months ago, the date on the image should be 2005) with my D70 and the 18-70mm lens. The second was just recently with my D70 and my new Tokina 12-24mm.

Two LDS TemplesThank you all for your comments. Surenj, the first one is a single image but I recently discovered Capture NX. There is a marvelous tool in NX that helps with a blown out sky. It is a free trial on http://www.nikonusa.com. I haven't tinkered with the other features because I'm pretty happy using PSP for my pp work. Critter, I love the 12-24mm. I got mine from Canoga Camera in California for just under $500. The lady that confirmed my order the next day asked why the lens was so popular. All I could tell her was that the reviews (and now the evidence of using it) have been glowing. I do a lot of architectural shots; interior and exterior, and this is by far the best choice in lenses I've made since getting my 70-200mm. And at half the price of Nikon's equivalent. Lukaszek, there were lots of folks around during the magic hour when I was finally able to snap the shot without someone right in front of me. The Temple sits on a bench at the base of the Wasatch Mountain Range and faces west. Perfect light during this hour of day. You've got to be at the ready though, the light changes very quicky and you could miss the shot in the blink of an eye; literally. Thanks again to all.
