the pictures are a no go for me!

Stunning photos that you should be rightly proud of

same here, no photos. Tried to access them directly, still can't.

For those that can't see the images...
If you right mouse click and say 'view image'...then they are viewable. Then 'go back'...and refresh this page. I'm using firefox and seems to work doing it like that.

Still no go here. I had tried that as well, but keep getting an Error 403 from blogger.com.

Tried with Safari and Firefox on Mac, IE7 and Firefox on Windows.

Cleared cache, etc, still not getting through.

Worked for me Radar on a Mac with Firefox

As far as I can tell the Error 403 (Forbidden) is due to blogger denying requests with dslrusers.net as the referrer. Fair enough: I don't think they intend it to be a generic photo hosting service.

The workaround as described will often initially show the Err 403 in the new tab/window, but a refresh grabs the file without referrer info. Once it's in your browser cache, a refresh on the original dslrusers.net page will show all the images.

Man Tripod: I suggest you find an appropriate server to host your images on.

Very nice images, although I find the cropping on the Sunlight Valley one a bit disturbing.

Did a quick search, it seems that a fair few people have trouble with hot-linking images from blogger.com. It works for some and not others. It sometimes depends which ISP you are with or if you already have an account with blogger.com or a few other "recognised" blogs.

Not familiar with options in blogger.com, but if Man Tripod reads this, can you check your options in blogger.com to see if there is anything you can enable in terms of linking images? Otherwise, you may need to get a different spot to host your images as it seems to be a hit/miss as to who sees them.

i've re-located the photos so they should work now. Thanks for the positive feedback. NZ really is a photographers paradise. I shot over 600 photos there in one week so its damn hard to pic favourites. The scenery around Mt Cook Village is simply stunning.

Wow, dude these are gorgeous. 600 shots, sounds like enough to pick the 12 best for a calendar. Oh and a big welcome to the forum!

If I had to pick favourites, I'd say 1 and 3.

That first one, does the horizon need a bit of straightening or is it just an optical illusion?

Welcome - absolutely amazing photos.

Interestingly, my pic is no 2 as, to me, it conveys the youth of the mountain ranges in NZ as well as the awe they inspire! Makes the 3,000 photos we took during our honeymoon on the south island in March look boring

Terrific images Man Tripod. Lighting is beautifully timed and maximises the visual imapct of those gorgeous vistas. I'd be tempted to remove the distracting slither of sun drenched foreground meadow. The light travelling down the valley is awesome and deserves our full attention. Welcome to the forum
