Haven't seen one this big before. Have heaps in our garden but they are all quite small by comparison. These were 6' tall and the flowers would have been 1/2 that in length.

What thehell type of Bromeliad is this?

first shot is great- indeed it does have very nice colour and is quite sharp.
maybe for stock purposes you might want to clean out the spiderwebs (or whatever they are inside the flower) -julz
