Selective Colour - My First Attempts

I like #2, the effect is very well here, a little bit of distortion and horizon control will make it better IMO...


Last one is cool, very evil and surreal :P

#2 is cool, I'm starting to use selective colouring for wedding shots, I am finding that a little bit goes a long way.

Cool effect..I particularly like #1 and #3, was this done using masks?

thanks for all your replies...

yeah jammy2, i made a new layer with mask, desaturated, then just used the eraser to reveal the colour. first time i've tried it and pretty happy with it.

wow... the power of this technique is clear in shot 2!
the process is that simple? dupe, layermask, and erase? hmm.. time to give it a go..

as Yi-P pointed out, the distortion in this pic i guess hurts it :(
