Posted: Thu Nov 30, 2006 10:58 amI just bought a new Sigma 70-300mm lens on Tuesday, and here we are two days later and I've already got a chance to use it!
Taken from the 21st floor of our office, managed to take the following snaps. (Realised afterwards that I'd had the f-stop set at f4 because I'd been trialling a 2x multiplier with it then forgot to re-set it!).
Nonetheless, at least I was sort of on-the-spot for something....
(the crowd marshalls were making sure there wasn't too much of a crush, hence there were some gaps in the road. Also, this wasn't taken with the 70-300...)

(didn't realise until I looked at it that they were 'flag-dancing'!)
