Persian Leopard at Adelaide Zoo...

Spent several hours at the Zoo this afternoon, trying to get a head on shot the subject animal. Unfortunately not quite head on, but close enough as the only other view I have ever had in the past, is the backside or hidden behind a bush or small tree. Very windy conditions today, blowing a vine in front of the Persian Leopard while having lunch.

I am now calling for a volunteer to hold back the vine next time

Remarks: showing the shot, due to the fascinating colours of the big cat.

'Tis a bit of a shame about the vine, but that's still a very cool cat.

I'd be tempted to up the contrast a bit.

The things you do mate while i was out fishing and what a shot as well. Good as can be expected as we know just how hard it is to get a good spot to get some shots up there in the big smoke.

Well fish for tea, i caught the most but andrew got the biggest Bream and aint his head swelling, oh and the lil mongrel broke my new fishing rod. Anyhow mate great shot and well we have 5 good leagal size bream
Cheers

Fozzie, nice and sharp eyes. Sorry I could not make it, family stuff. I think we can do something about that vine for next time :)

Sounds like Big V will be entering the cage. Should make for some interesting photography. :D

Nice shot Fozzie.

Nice shot indeed fozzie! i don't even mind the vine too much, adds to the 'animal in the wild' feel!
