I'm in Brisbane for a conference finishing today...
I wandered down to the waterfront at southbank and snapped this one...
Image
Sigma 10-20 on the d200...

No 'pod so it was resting on the backpack... which is why you have quite a bit of the path... and yes, it was green (lit by green lights)
CC welcome

Good God Scott, if u can do this with you backpack (Scottpod?) then should revisit this again one day with a tripod!
Quite impressive given the scenario. I find the green reflection in the water a little distracting and the ? plastic bag mid screen could be easily cloned out.

Scott nice image, but it has a nasty lean to it. I ended up with half the river in my coffee cup

To me, it's a little over-exposed. Other than that and the lean, it's quite a nice image - I don't mind the green, I think it evens the pic up a bit :)

I'd probably crop a little more harshly too - perhaps just below the outlet (?) on the bottom left.

Good use of available props though, a picture that many would probably not have got as they didn't have their multi-hundred dollar tripod ;)
