Manta's Girl

Ash, my eldest, wanted a photo to give her boyfriend for Christmas. This was taken with one of those neat little diffuser socks that slip over the front of the SB800. I was pleasantly surprised with the results. C&C appreciated. (I know the background is awful - it was a rush job and the garden was really all I had to work with!)

Thanks Geoff - and I must say I agree about the softness.
This one was Ashleigh's pick and incorporates some deliberate skin softening. She's paranoid about her freckles and slight acne!

Nice shot. I don't think the background is too distracting as you are immediately drawn to her eyes. I'm sure her boyfriend will love it.

Simon - very nice.
Many years ago I had the pleasure of photographing an America actress around London. In one day I shot over 350 pics and the only one she liked was, you guessed it, the OOF shot.
I learnt a lesson that day
