Cricket at 400 mm

These shots were taken after consuming copious amounts of caffeine at the coffee meet. Taken with Glen's 400 5.6 MF lens.

This batsmen had been struggling with form and confidence, and on Saturday, hit a very quickfire 33 when we needed it.

Love the last one. Great quadtych (sp?) (Four images combined to make a series) (I hope you print that one out for him. It's a good shot. Eyes right over the top of the ball)

That outfield looks a bit rough.

Patrick, all that caffeine makes you mighty quick with a manual lens. :D Like them all but like Steve think the last one is an accomplishment

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Actually, the outfield was in reasonably good condition - the council had apparently spent a fair few dollars returfing.

Notice the guy at backward square in the 4 shot photo (the guy in the background)? Not walking in! Big no-no. (He ended up dropping at least 2 catches that I saw!
