I need to wake up a lot earlier from now on. Never realised how nice the morning light is :) These were taken between 8 and 10 on Sunday morning...oh the haze helped a fair bit as well :D

That first one is a beauty Piro, yes, the light is magnificent. Making me miss Melbourne now - how's the bushfires going ?

love the texture the light gives to the building in the first, and the perspective of the last shot almost makes me dizzy haha. i think i would try to bring out a bit more detain in the shadows in the last though. just an idea.

I like #3 for the lines and tones there :)

For #1, maybe I will crop out the right side of the shot with that building's wall, I find it bit distracting sticking out of nowhere.

Wayne,

These are great

But

I think they could be a lot better

1st I would crop the right away. Much better without the right side of that building in the way

2nd if you crop it right you can really wind up with a great abstract image

3rd I like it but not a lot you can do.

4th is a pearler if you crop it right it's a real ripper of an Abstract.

Through my eye anyway.

Cheers,

Mic

thanks for the comments and suggestions everyone.

out of all the 4, i'm very happy with #3 as it's quite spot on with the composition and lighting - it's pretty much out of the camera :D

I'm going to work on #1 a bit and try a few variations with the cropping. I quite like the building on the right as it helps to lead the eye towards the vanishing point.

See how I go this weekend, might end up going to reshoot the pic but then again I want to wait for the haze again :D
