Just happened to be in the right spot to see an Army Blackhawk chopper flying past, quite a machine. Bright midday sun made for less than perfect photographic conditions but it was quite a sight as it made for the local airport to (I assume) refuel.

Right place right time.

Good images, nice shutter speed with a blur on the rotors.

Have you tried it B&W to help with the high contrast shadows?

:D

No Chris, it's a disabled parking sticker - who's going to argue when and where a blackhawk wants to park?

Chris
That's his Q/record. It states he has signed out 1 Blackhawk helicopter and that he is responsible for its condition until it is returned. If it has been damaged in any way then he has to pay for it.

Nice work Ozi. The last two are great. Nice to see the Blackhawk with long range fuel tanks on it. A little different than what i'm used to seeing.

According to Wikipedia, about 2200 klms.

Interestingly, the Blackhawk is also in use by The Peoples Republic of China.

I bet they have reverse engineered it too, and are even now building a factory to mass produce the new 'Whitehawk Lucky-Benro Helicopter.'
