During tonights shoot, we had a visit by this guy, busy fighting fires in Melbourne.

Murphy's law applied, and I had the 28-70 on, while the 70-200mm was in the bag... anyway, happy to capture this visitor to the beach.

Sweet. The Elvis's are huge helos.

When they're in fire-fighting mode they always look as if part of the fuselage has dropped off! I know they are built like this so that they can add various bits and pieces depending on the job at hand but it still looks strange. Nice shot despite the circumstances.

Pleased to see you got an image even if it was not with the 70-200! It was amazing to watch it go by.... just one of those wow moments!
