Hello people!
Well thanks to you know who a brand new 80-200 arrived at my door this morning. Had the afternoon off work so i went for a bit of a drive to test it out.

I think it will take me a little while to get used to the weight of this glass but overall i am happy with the results.

Hope you enjoy your new glass Bruno, I know just how good this lens is optically. Affix it to your camera often and you won't notice the weight - rather the lack of it when you switch back to the kit lens.

Nice Bruno. I have an older Nikkor 80 -200 but it is nowhere as good as that. What does it weigh?

1.3kg, not that much in comparison to some other exotic glass but comming from the kit lens you can notice the difference.

hey to see theres no problems with morie with the pic of the bird.
i too was initally shocked when i first attached th 80-200 to my f5. i mean the f5 was heavy but the 80-200 was bigger.
