it wasn't an expected trip at all..in fact I was offered the chance to go with expenses paid in exchange for doing some small photography jobs and shooting a wedding while I was there on a Tues and I left Australia three days later on the Friday...what a mammoth organisational effort that was!

I couldnt possible post all the shots that I took while I was there (England, France and Germany) but I'll try and make a few small threads with just a couple of pics in each as I get through my editing...

These were taken close to London...in a place called Virginia Waters...I was lucky enough to arrive just before all the leaves had fallen off the tree's...also a shot of Windsor castle here...which is close to Virginia Waters...

Bindii, the first is just classic autumn and the last seems like a postcard. Congrats on your trip, sounds like a great deal!

great shots there, love the first three, last one is a postcard one, but still prefer the first ones. Certainly was a great opportunity to get there.

Bindii, some inspiring shots here (my wife and I are planning a europe trip june/july next year, and these have got my all excited about our time over there.
#2 and #3 are my favourites that said they are all great. but the left and swan on the water a fantastic.

Sirhc I can see why you took your girlfriends to Virginia Waters...its very romantic...*wink wink* I presume you lived locally there did you?

And Alpha you and your wife will love it there..I so can't wait to go back...I wasn't there for nearly long enough...although I was lucky in the way that I have a lot of friends who live in the UK...all of them photographers from another photography forum that I frequent...it was great to meet so many of the members while I was there....and it had the additional benifits of them being able to take me to the best spots for photography...oh and the free drinks were nice too... I'll post some more threads shortly...sorry I'm so not organised enough to have a gallery...

Boy, I am starting to miss seasons (I am an Australian-Canadian), so many more opportunities for different shots.
