There is an abundance of bird life in Africa that I was captivated with. While these are hardly nature-quality pix because they were taken from the back of a Land Rover, they nonetheless can give an idea of the birds. Click for larger pix.

Nice shots Trevor - but the hornbill is the clear standout. I love the DOF and the composition makes it as well. Good stuff.

The hornbill is nice. Great sharpness on the eye. Wouldn't want to have a run in with that beak!
