Hi,

I have seen the combination of a macro lens plus extension rings and that was quite amazing.
The Tamron D90 Macro on its own is quite nice; combine it with extension tubes and you might be amazed.
(or combine your existing extension tubes - with a macro lens and you may be amazed too  )

HTH,

Trotkiller - this is a Brown Flower Beetle - Glycyphana stolata :)
Glad to see you are enjoying the macro lens - very very addictive !!!! :)
And I agree with Christian, extension tubes with the macro is wicked !! :) :)
