I love slopping around in the bush in the back paddock and one of the things I have been waiting for is the time when the grey gums shed their bark and it gets rained on. That time was yesterday and here are a few of the results.

Yes, thank you, they are spectacular when you get them at the right time. There is only a small window in time that it happens after the shedding of the bark and before the new bark hardens up. That has to occur when rain is happening as well to get the colours. I was waiting this time. The border/frames are simply an action I grabbed from the internet for Photoshop.
