It came from mars

well it is too hot to sleep up in the riverland, so Marvin and I are playing around with the 500D close up lens on the 400mm and the wireless remote triggers for our flashes. Here is one of our midnight results...Fozzie knows how easy it is to find critters up here at night!!
oh, the specs, f22 100 ISO 60th of sec exposure 550EX and a SB800 used in manual mode.

Virgs - a fitting description, dam ugly critter.

On my count alone, 1 million insects per person in Paringa :lol:

Amazing photo/creature. I don’t know if it’s just me but I can see the antennae and eyes and slap between said antennae another head complete with eyes - (theme from X-Files now playing) :shock:

Fozzie, you have underestimated the count :) As for the self portrait bit - harsh, given that you were holding the flash and so the middle bit might actually be your reflection!!!
