Playing with this image tonight and im not sure if I like, loathe or love it.

Im very interested to hear opinions of forum members on what they think. Cheers

i think with nature you dont have to improve on it with tricks
the original image would of been much more appealing

although i can see the graphic kind of quality you were going for, it has it's purposes

I guess most people wont like this image because it is not "natural" (and looks too different to the way it came out of the camera). When i was playing around with it I was unhappy with the plain image but noticed that the structures in the photograph looked good in association with the three dominant colours. So to salvage something from the image I tried to focus on the colour.

My girlfriend loves it (she liked vivid colours) but I am still not sold on it, probably for the same reason that Wendel and Pa have covered off on.

Im still interested to hear your opinions (different or same) if you could please comment. Thanks

It reminds me of the old CGA 4-colour computer screens. So that's not a good thing.

I would have liked to see it processed (I'd don't know how) to not be as harsh. Allow more of the natural shadows and gradients to appear in the two colours. It looks like at the moment that the two colours are either on or off and there are not any mid-tones. Does that make sense?

Do you have the original online somewhere?
