Hello everyone!

Although I'm pretty bad at portraits, but this one, for some reason, held my interest. Sepia tone makes it look a bit more interesting I think.

This image was cropped, resized, sharpened and in the last, sepia was applied.

Following gear was used:
Nikon D70S, Nikkor 50mm 1.8, Nikon Speedlight SB-800

I would appreciate C&C.

Image

Focal Length = 50 mm
Aperture = f/3.2
Shutter Speed = 1/40 sec.
ISO Rating = 200

the tone is very nice the shadows are dark and the angle of composition challenges the viewer a little, all elements make for a compelling portrait visually
you could crop tighter so the top left edge of your head meets the frame
and clone out that dark spot on the bottom left hand corner

You have strong facial features so next time i would try to shoot yourself in a way that takes advantage of this, try different lighting methods or a more direct look

The image lacks a little bit of contact with the viewer, otherwise, great picture :)
