The fly had been feeding on some rotting fruit, and had regurgitated a small droplet ..... the water droplet did a great job of magnifying the mouthparts of the fly for me :)

No bug is safe at my house - poor little 'buggers' :) LOL

All my macro shots are taken with the Nikon 105 2.8 micro lens, SB800, PJLightsphere and diffusion dome :) - this shot has been cropped, but not toooo much :) Just lucky to get the angle right for the magnification of the droplet to have an effect !! Pretty arsy really :) :) (but I'm not complaining ;) )
