Menacing Auto

Was out for a drive in the country when I stopped to take a photo, turned back and saw my car just sitting there. Who knew a 96 Pulsar could be intimidating? (Played with PP a bit to darken the shot...)

C&C Welcome!

I think if you cloned out the light in front of the car as it looks a little too 'happy' in its shape it may add to the menacing feel you are after. You could then crop the darkness at the bottom out a little as well to move the car down in the frame. I don't know it is a hard one to say.

I would clone out the power lines though, the disappear into the highlights or see if you can keep them going to the pole in the distance it could work either way actually...

And straighten it up a bit, I find myself tilting my head to get the car square :D

Good call on that - I think it looks better this way. Decided to clone out the power lines (but kept the power pole - looks more ominous). Removed the errant clouds and yes, rotated the picture slightly (the horizon was more or less straight, but the car was parked on the side of the road in the dirt, hence the lean). I removed the light in front... not sure. Possibly more ominous, hadn't previously thought of the light as making it look 'happy'.

Thanks for the tips!

I like the new reworks version I think it achieve a higher level of menace, nicely done. It reminds me of some 70-80's movies, cue scary music.

Besides the model of the car you could almost think Christine...

Nicely reworked too!
