It actually wasn't that interesting. The cyclists just went off slowly (for them).

Nice to see people heading out with the camera to the other stages; Mawson Lakes seemed pretty darn packed yesterday.
There is a sheeeetload of waiting around at the start of each race, I'd be looking as bored as the Barloworld guys if I had to spend that much time waiting. I've never actually seen a stage start either, the media vans pull off 10 mins ahead but means I ain't missing much eh ![]() Are you heading to Stirling tommorow Daniel?
Hi Ronza,
I didn't think that it was too busy. Last year there was more of a carnival atmosphere around the stage 1 start.
Probably not. Although it's a shame you miss the line up, before they head off.
No. Some of us have to work. ![]() I only went to this start because I work very close by. Daniel Nikon D4, D2Xs, D70, Nikkors and Sigmas lenses from 10 to 400mm

Ouch. I guess it will take a little while for the mouth to recover. Hope you get better soon. Daniel, thankfully whose teeth are all intact... Nikon D4, D2Xs, D70, Nikkors and Sigmas lenses from 10 to 400mm
