Went paddling down Boambee Creek late this afternoon, took the D70 and a few lenses in a waterproof bag (not housing). Took some portrait orientationed shots on a beautiful evening, stitched four of them together to make this one, toes and all to make it look, well, human?!

Silly Ibis, there's millions of them everywhere around here, just like the flying foxes, and there's zillions of them.

Nice shot.

How are you protecting your camera from the water ?

Thanks Lukas and Colin,

I'm not, at least not when I'm actually taking photos. I balance my waterproof sack, change lenses (and paddle slowly) all at the same time. Maybe not a wise way to take photos, but it sure is fun! Of course, when I'm finished photographing, I pack the camera and lenses into the sack, stow it and then paddle seriously.

Cheers.
