The common Red-back spider. yuk!

I have always had a bit of a phobia regarding spiders and figured that maybe getting up a bit closer with the camera in the way would help.... ummm.. no.. it's not helping. It reinforces my belief that they are just plain evil and bloody horrible!!

I like the effect of the spider on a man-made fabric. More unnatural... confronting. Good photos!
