Had a clear night last night so I thought I should finally get a peek of the comet.
Best comet I have seen, and the tail was just huge when the light started to fade.C&C as always welcome.

Very nice shots colin.

Question... why does the tail look like it's being wind-swept?

Cool shots Colin. Love the tail in that last one and the colours of the sunsets.

Definitely worth the trip. Well done.

Cheers, Mick :) :) :)

Thanks guys.
Gordon was talking about the tail in another thread Owen. It was some thing to do with particle size and our viewing angle of the comet I think. Do a search to be sure though.
I'm a bit bummed with the last one as I switched iso to get a shorter exposeure. It unfortunately produced a very noisy image.
I will know better next time.
Regards Colin
