Thanks for that one Patrick.

Nice optical illusion in that one - some how you made Rob look much taller. Of course we all know the old trick of making the object in the foreground look bigger/taller!! :)

Just as long as everyone realises i'm not really vertically challenged

Like the shot of Yi-P and the last one too.

Well done.

Cheers, Mick :) :) :)

Look at me says Mick, not a gram of fat was put on over Christmas

Good capture Patrick. You haven't wasted anytime getting the pics out.

That last one if very nice, if the sail would have been out, perfect.

Would have been a hot day today, hope everyone had a good time.

cheers,

André

Mick, you're right, it was a great optical illusion! (I believe you).

Andre, where we were, it wasn't too bad with the shade and a nice breeze. Get into the sun, and it was a different situation.

Cheers

Patrick

The last two are really well done, especially given the haze on the day. #3 in particular has a certain nostalgic feel to it somehow thanks to your PP, but I can't quite say why.

Thanks Peter (and also for the use of that fantastic lens). Perhaps the nostalgic feeling stems from the lack of Centrepoint tower? Just my opinion, but I sometimes see shots of Sydney/North Sydney without landmark buildings and it really adds to the aged look of the photo.
