I took about 100 pics at the Bradley's Head meet. These 3 are the only ones I'm happy with. Sure hope I do better when I'm in NZ next month

Peter, I really like the last two. Contrast and colour!

If you are that worried about taking shots in NZ then you could let me go in your place. Definately wouldn't get many keepers but I'm sure I could enjoy myself trying

Cheers, Mick :) :) :)

Peter,

it's just that your standard has gone up. I'm sure a year ago, you would have more keepers, you are just more discriminating now

I also like the last two, nice colours.

NZ will yield some great photos for you, I'm sure. In your place, I'd be more worried about being with Sheepie for that long

Cheers,

André

Is no-one worried for me?

Peter - your shooting has slipped. Time to give up. Let me use your equipment (camera equipment that is!) in NZ and show you how a pro works ;)

I think Andre is right - your expectations have gone up over time, and so when you have a more ordinary day you are left with an empty basket. Sometimes we can try too hard to get a 'different' picture, and miss the easy stuff :)

I quite like the first one of these - the contrast between natural leaves and the squareness of the concrete. The message also works well with the picture. Sorry, but the others don't do much for me - while nice textures, I don't think you've been able to bring them out as well as others of this type you've presented :)

We must like the same sorts of stuff.
How else could you explain that I walked around at a different time to you and still took some of the same shots. :D
These are great.
