Now that's a name that would get you picked on a bit at school. I think if I was one of these guys I would just tell them I'm Chrysomya rufifacies.. sounds more sophisticated. :D

C&C always welcome.

Mark,

Was it on fire? :)

Just look at those big eyes, and those gorgeous long eyelashes. Clearly the female of the species; great detail here.

Well done.

Thanks Mark, we assumed it was the Tammy but I wanted to be sure, I've been showing off your macros at work, and Dawesy my IT / Linux Shepard is keen to get this lens for his Pentax. I'm hoping he'll start posting on the forum here too...

I was really hoping that Linux Shepherd wouldn't catch on, but what can you do... I guess raving on about how much better a server with no GUI on it will do that!

Xerubus, as mentioned I've seen a few of your Macro shots and am very impressed. I'm in fact now considering the Tamron for my DL. I'd like to get into some Macro and it seems to have the added advantage of being a decent portrait lens. I had been thinking of a Pentax 77mm Limited for that, but they're expensive and rare!

Anyway, nice to be here and top shot!

welcome to the forums dawesy... and thanks for the comments...

I couldn't recommend the tamron 90mm enough.. I've had it for only around 1-2 weeks now and cannot fault it.

cheers
