I like this set, well put together. I don't have the shooting expertise to go into detail I am sure others will.
Just a side note you don't need to save 800x533 images at maximum quality these are some 650KB each, try one or two notches down from maximum when you save them, you won't be able to tell the difference and they'll be sub 250KB each.
Cheers, keep posting! I loved your B&W ones also.

On my calibrated monitor these all seem to have a slight yellow colour cast.
As for the images #3 is the weakest ans uffers from no eye contact from any of the people IMHO. The other 3 have good appeal, but #1 could have been waaay better if you'd waited a second or too for the foreground person to have walked past. Then you have all that great empty foreground with the strong leading lines down to the people at the end.

I like this set, just a quick question did you have any issues taking photos at train stations ?
#1 to some extent I agree with Peter that I think the image would of been stronger without the foreground guy and just strong lines to the people in the distance.. (this does contradict the, "you should have foreground interest thing") but for this shot the dude is distracting..
#2 I dont' mind but I find it a bit subdued, which could be what you were after, it looks pretty noisey for ISO 400, did you bring up the exposure when editing ??
#3 Unlike Peter I like this one the most, and dont' think you need eye contact, for me in this shot you are the silent, invisible observer and you get a little insight into the lives of three different people waiting for the train. I kind of like how the to females are as farway from the male as they can be, and none of them really look relaxed. I also like the composition with the horizontal and vertical lines (kind of like a viewfinder grid).
#4 This one works better then #2 (which are similar) as this has more movement, and light, plus a stronger person to draw interest too.
Thanks for sharing.

#2 and #4 are common scenes, but I like them all the same. Paints a bleakish picture of waiting for public transport in the cold.

Stubsy,
I don't have a calibrated monitor but these shots were all taken under very yellow lights, the temp was turned down in RAW but it's not all gone.
Alpha,
Thanks heaps for the feedback,
I ran into some trouble the other day when i was taking photos in a tube station, the cops in london are really paranoid about terrorism so they checked my camera (after i showed them how to use it!). But I said I was an aussie and they were fine about it, i'm just not allowed to take them any more (at least not when they can see me!)
It is very noisy for ISO400 but I under-exposed it a couple of stops and had to do alot of brightening in RAW processing.
Cheers for the feedback.
