Yes they are lovely, I'm having a real trouble growing some..

Geoff,

looks really good as is but I think it would also look nice with a tigher crop as well. They are gorgeous flowers.

I agree Geoff - a friend of mine has a huge tree of them in his front garden but I keep forgetting to take my camera over!

Love the bokeh

Geoff - I too would like to see a tighter crop to bring out the colour. BTW: you have not added the new lens: AF 85mm f/1.4 to your profile signature.

I'm seriously thinking of Fleabaying all my lenses and buy just that one lens.

Nice shot... Perhaps could be slightly cropped and printed on canvas in large size!

It never ceases to amaze me how well texture can come across in a photo! The flower looks so velvety and soft, yet the edges are still razor sharp and defined.

The colour reproduction is spot on as well. Fantastic work Geoff!

Congrats on the lens, it certainly is wonderful, specially in the right hands ;)

More DOF wont hurt Geoff, specially on the cream machine 8)
