Bugatti Veyron (nickel-plated hot wheels model)

Using a desk lamp and television as my light sources and a tripod for stability, I took a couple of shots of a little Bugatti Veyron hot wheels car I got for Christmas. (The model is black nickel-plated, hence quite reflective... oh, and it's mounted on a mirrored base for an added degree of difficulty!)

While I like the effect of the metallic sheen in real life, I'm not sure how best to capture it - any C&C would be very appreciated!

I agree, use a light tent. There should be instructions somewhere around to make your own.

Once you make it, I would be tempted to take the image in the sun, allowing for maximum light, rather than multiple light sources.

Will be interesting to see how you go, it'll be a bugger!

The correct White Balance will improve it dramatically.
